If you are interested in coming to this or any future meeting as our guest, or for information about the Garden Club, please call 724-635-0339.
GARDEN TIP: August is a good time to sow a Fall crop of herbs, such as parsley and cilantro, as well as salad greens, including spinach and arugula. Also, be sure to stop fertilizing lawns, perennials, and woody plants by the middle of August. Any new growth that is encouraged late in the summer won't be sturdy enough to survive the cold autumn weather that's on its way.

There is a brochure at the Library with information about the summer reading programs – there are 3 or 4 programs a week. All programs are free but require registration in advance at the Youngwood Library.
